Our School to Work program can help you choose your direction and provide you with the tools to shape your future with confidence as you navigate through life. You will bridge the gap between school and adulthood, enhance your high school experience and prepare for the next phase of your life.
With this program, you will find your inner voice, apply academics to real-life situations and discover resources to support you along your journey. As you explore work and volunteer opportunities, you will build independence and understand your potential.
School to Work also provides guidance to your family so they can help you ease into life’s next chapter. You will all learn about your rights provided by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, create a transitional plan and gain The Arc of Ulster-Greene as a partner in advocacy. We will also answer any questions you may have about Adult Services eligibility and what to do next.
Be ready when the school bus stops coming. We’re here to help. Let us work with you.
